Expert in Clinical Research, Training and Events — at the heart of medical innovation
A practising philosopher of innovation, Dr Yannick Bardie holds a doctorate in management sciences and several master's degrees (political science, law, public health), and is a former student of the École de guerre économique. He has taught for more than twenty years at leading business and engineering schools. A consultant and the founder of several innovative organisations in the fields of health, digital technology and personal development, he devotes his research to existential entrepreneurship.
Yannick Bardie is an experimenter of the living, passionate about the anthropological dimension of organisations, and the author of several books on management, health and the ethics of action. His approach is holistic and draws on phenomenology, systems thinking and neuroscience applied to leadership and transformation.
Committed to a continuous practice of self-education, he draws as much on Michel Foucault and Ivan Illich as on Marshall Rosenberg, bringing social critique, nonviolent communication and distributed governance practices into his work. He champions a vision of the company as a place for the ontological growth of the individual.
He is also a private pilot, a sailor and an international speaker, and regularly leads personal alignment boot camps in extreme environments (deserts, seas, mountains).
“What I seek to pass on is the ability to govern oneself in an uncertain world, and to reclaim the word ‘value’ in a personal, embodied sense. The enterprise of the self is perhaps first and foremost this : a return to the dignity of existing.”
Yannick Bardie is a clinical research expert, a Doctor of Management Sciences specialising in Information Systems and a Health Engineer, holding a Master's degree in Project Management focused on health product development. With 30 years of experience, he is currently a lecturer and researcher at the University of Montpellier and at EMLV Paris (Pôle Vinci). Yannick Bardie is also an institutional entrepreneur and the founding president of the Intelligence in Life Foundation.
A recognised expert in the clinical development of health products, he spent more than 20 years conducting clinical trials in France and across Europe for international sponsors, both commercial and academic. His career began in 1994 at Sanofi Recherche in Montpellier, followed by a position at Pasteur Mérieux Sérums et Vaccins in Lyon in 1996. Since 1999, he has worked as an independent in clinical research and notably took part in the first experimental implantation of an artificial pancreas at the Montpellier university hospital in 2000, a project that ran for ten years.
A designer of information systems for clinical operations, Yannick Bardie led a research project on pharmaceutical safety, which culminated in the award of his doctoral thesis. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Comité de Protection des Personnes de Montpellier Méditerranée IV (research ethics committee), where he deals with ethical issues. He is also the founder of VOUTE SAS, a company innovating in digital and payment services for clinical research.
An entrepreneur, educator and strategic thinker, Yannick B. is a hybrid figure at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, health, management and the social sciences. With an unconventional career combining research, entrepreneurship and the transmission of knowledge, he builds bridges between disciplines to anticipate changes in organisations and socio-economic dynamics.
Trained in scientific rigour and driven by an insatiable curiosity, Yannick B. does not content himself with analysing the world : he reconfigures it. He draws on fields as varied as philosophy, medicine, behavioural economics and information systems to formulate models of applied strategic intelligence. His approach rests on a strong conviction : the future belongs to those who know how to structure and mobilise knowledge across interconnected ecosystems.
Yannick B. does not think in terms of careers, but of mental architectures and dynamics of influence. Through his writings, including Les Entreprises de Soi, and his public engagements, he sketches the contours of a future in which human and artificial intelligence coexist in a logic of strategic complementarity. His ambition ? To create an intellectual and operational framework in which knowledge becomes a lever for lasting transformation and cognitive sovereignty.
“Not simply to understand change, but to structure it.”
